Gatekeeper Kiosk Setup Guide

This article is for CrisisGo Gatekeeper customers who want to enroll their kiosk tablet as a Gatekeeper Kiosk Device.

Supported Tablets

The CrisisGo Gatekeeper currently supports certain tablet models to be set as Gatekeeper Kiosk Devices. Please refer to the Gatekeeper Front Desk System Requirements for details.

Kiosk Setup Guidance

1. Change your tablet to kiosk mode (Recommended)

Before configuring the CrisisGo Gatekeeper software, we recommend you to change your tablet to the kiosk mode.

Kiosks are on-premises devices serving as public terminals, displays, or signage. They restrict user interaction to the software's scope, allowing for customization and limited ad-hoc services.

WARNING: If your tablet is not in kiosk mode, end-users can change device settings and close the CrisisGo Gatekeeper app on your tablet, disrupting the Gatekeeper experience. We strongly recommend setting your device to kiosk mode.

2. Install the CrisisGo app

To set up your tablets as the Kiosk Device of the CrisisGo Gatekeeper, first install the CrisisGo mobile app to the tablet. Ensure you have version 6.25.0 or higher.

For Kiosk mode tablet

In your MDM/EMM platform, set your tablet to Single App Kiosk Mode and designate the CrisisGo mobile app as the sole app on the device. For detailed instructions, refer to your MDM/EMM platform's official guidance. For non-Kiosk mode tablet

Open your tablet's App Store, search for 'CrisisGo', and install the app.

3. Enroll your tablet as a CrisisGo Gatekeeper Kiosk Device

After installing the CrisisGo app to your tablet, follow the instructions below to enroll it as the Gatekeeper Kiosk Device.
