The CrisisGo Gatekeeper ecosystem requires additional equipment to reach its full power. Below are the hardware requirements and recommendations.

If you plan to print visitor badges at the Front Desk, you'll need one of the label printers listed below. Currently, we only support these models, but more brands and models will be added soon.

2. Tablets for kiosk usage (Optional)

If you want your visitors to self-check-in at the Front Desk, providing a tablet Kiosk integrated with CrisisGo Gatekeeper is a great option. We currently support the following tablets for setup as CrisisGo Gatekeeper Kiosk Devices.

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ (Recommended)

  • Any other tablets running Android 12 or higher, iOS 14 or higher, and equipped with a 5MP or higher front camera.

For instructions on enrolling a kiosk device into the Gatekeeper system, please refer to the Gatekeeper Kiosk Setup Guide.

3. External cameras (Optional)

Recommended for Front Desk who would like to take a photo of their visitor and check in on behalf of the visitor.

  • Any camera with 1080p HD resolution or higher that is compatible with Windows 10 or later and macOS 12 or later.

4. External 2D scanners (Optional)

The external 2D scanners are used to scan the QR code on your visitor's badge for checking out at the Front Desk.

  • Thales CR5400 UV 2D Duplex ID Scanner (Recommended)

    • Note: Gatekeeper can only work with the CR5400 scanner on Windows systems. Support for macOS is coming soon.

  • Any 2D scanner compatible with Windows 10 or later and macOS 12 or later.
